http://eekoblog.blog.co.uk/I thought I would set up this blog as I've recently been looking into eco issues and the more I do so the more I find simple little every day things like buying milk or doing the dishes get more and more difficult! Eg: I can't buy normal milk anymore because of the use of bovine growth hormone, and the chemicals in most cleaning products are extremely harmful to the environment when the inevitably find their way into rivers, polluting, killing wildlife and damaging crops. But the thing is I'm a student and so many natural and organic products are so much more expensive so every time I go to buy anything its a battle between wanting to save money and wanting to save the world! And to make things worse I've just started investigating the impact of the fashion world on the environment for an article I'm writing so now even clothes shopping has become even more impossible than it was before! Opening my eyes was so easy; now all I want to do is close them right back up again!
